More than 250 million kilos of coffee grounds are produced in the Netherlands every year. Much of this waste product us incinerated, it's time for a change! These coffee grounds are now collected from cafes and restaurants and dried at the special locations to be reused. The material that remains after drying is the basis for a new sustainable raw material. Useful products are then made from these coffee grounds, such as pens, notebooks, flower pots, socks, sunglasses and more.
